Today, Brooke went to see Dr. Elder for her 4 month checkup. She now weighs 12lbs, 2oz and is 24 1/4 inches long. She is in the 20th percentile for weight and the 50th for height.
Dr. Elder was impressed with her motor skills and her chattiness. That girl loves to talk! He also gave us the green light to go ahead and start her on baby cereal. Brooke had to have two shots. Poor girl, she acted like she never felt the first one, but after the second one she figured out what had happened and let everyone know she did not like it! Good thing Grammie was there to love on her. Grammie works in the same building as Pediatric Associates and she came down for Brooke's appointment.
We are so blessed that Brooke is healthy, happy and growing strong! We will post again and let everyone know how her first bites of cereal go. =) For more new Brooke pictures, click the pic below. |
